Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at SailPoint, you will design, build, and deploy robust full‑stack microservices for the Policy Engine, enabling real‑time and batch identity decisions at scale. You will work with cross‑functional partners to refine requirements and deliver secure software using Golang and Angular. Embracing AI‑assisted workflows, you will apply modern engineering practices to advance security capabilities across enterprise environments. This role sits in the UK Platform Engineering team, contributing to a mission of intelligent identity security at scale. • Design, build, and deploy full‑stack microservices for the Policy Engine
• Prototype solutions and refine requirements with cross‑functional partners
• Deliver real‑time and batch decision capabilities at scale

• 5+ years of professional software development for distributed systems
• Strong backend microservices experience, preferably in Golang
• Frontend experience, preferably with Angular
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted/agentic development tools and workflows
• Experience designing and operating microservices in SaaS/cloud environments
• Solid testing, debugging, and performance profiling skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
