Senior Software Engineer

In this role you will help shape Elekta's cloud-native software platform powering oncology products. You’ll work in the Enterprise Shared Component team to build scalable containerised services and APIs that support healthcare solutions. You’ll contribute across the stack, improve CI/CD, and mentor engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in cancer care.

• Build and enhance cloud and on-premises services powering Elekta’s healthcare solutions
• Design and implement APIs and microservices with focus on scalability and performance
• Contribute to full-stack development from modern web UIs to backend services
• Improve CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps
• Apply cross-functional skills in development and test automation to ensure high quality
• Collaborate, share knowledge, and drive innovation for healthcare professionals and patients

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent)
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong API and microservices experience (REST, gRPC)
• Experience with .NET (C#) and modern frameworks
• Databases experience (PostgreSQL)
• Frontend experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and infrastructure automation
• Understanding of software design patterns and event-driven systems
