In this role you design and develop test equipment software to validate advanced defence systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You will deliver robust, high-quality test solutions and promote software quality practices across the lifecycle. You will apply automation, CI/CD and DevOps to improve efficiency and reliability, using measurement tools to support testing. This is a hands-on senior position in a collaborative culture with real-world impact on defence technology and a clear path to deeper expertise.

- Design, develop and maintain test equipment software for automated test solutions
- Write high-quality C/C++ code (scripting languages a plus)
- Participate in agile activities (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
- Promote software quality practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Apply automation, CI/CD and DevOps principles to improve efficiency and reliability
- Utilise electronic measurement and debug equipment to support testing and troubleshooting
- Proven software engineering experience developing test solutions
- Strong C / C++ programming skills; scripting languages a plus
- Experience in an agile development environment
- Understanding of high-quality software development and QA practices
- Knowledge of automation, CI/CD and DevOps principles
- Experience using electronic measurement and debug tools (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers)
