In this role you will design and build scalable, modern software across frontend and backend. You’ll influence technical direction and contribute to engineering excellence within a high-performing team. You’ll work with React/TypeScript on the frontend and Node.js/NestJS on the backend, embracing automation, security, and continuous delivery. You’ll mentor colleagues and leverage AI-assisted tools to boost productivity. The position supports a remote-first setup with quarterly travel to South Wales and offers strong benefits.
Responsibilities- Design and build scalable applications using React and TypeScript
- Develop backend services with Node.js/NestJS and API-driven architectures
- Contribute to micro frontend and modular design
- Improve quality through automated testing, CI/CD, and secure coding practices
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams
- Mentor developers and share knowledge across the team
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and delivery
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
- Strong expertise in React and TypeScript
- Experience with Node.js, NestJS, or similar backend technologies
- Full software development lifecycle knowledge
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and resilient design
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
