Overview

In this Senior Software Engineer role, you will contribute to Tripadvisor’s Experiences Engineering team, primarily on backend work with occasional frontend tasks. You’ll join a fast-growing, remote-first team shipping code to production every few days, collaborating closely with product managers and designers. You’ll help maintain and scale the experiences platform that connects travellers with operators and partners. This is a hands-on role that offers learning on the job with a modern AWS-based stack and a supportive, values-driven culture.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, test, and deploy software as part of the full development cycle
  • Contribute primarily on backend work with occasional frontend tasks
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into solutions
  • Release code to production on a regular, multiple-times-per-week cadence
  • Work across a modern tech stack including backend services and supporting infrastructure
