Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Ultra PCS, you will shape embedded software across safety- and mission-critical systems for aerospace and defence. You will work within a cross-functional team to derive requirements, craft architecture, and deliver robust software from microcontrollers to multi-processor platforms. You will be hands-on across the SDLC, from design to verification, in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. • Define requirements, design, develop and verify software with varying integrity levels (safety-critical to concept)
• Code to internal standards and deliver high-quality, robust solutions
• Conduct design and code reviews to uphold quality
• Debug in embedded environments and participate in full software development lifecycle

• Proficiency in C and C++ with cross-compiling and debugging on embedded targets
• Embedded Linux knowledge (Yocto, Buildroot)
• Real-time software design and RTOS concepts
• CI/CD workflow experience; Git and containerised development environments
• Familiarity with debugging tools, hardware interfaces, and safety analysis techniques
• Strong organizational and communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders
