Overview

In this Senior Software Engineer role you lead a high-impact porting programme to bring established casino games to a new platform. You work within a seasoned engineering team on technically challenging C/C++ graphics projects, ensuring ports preserve the original experience. You document repeatable processes and guide others as the porting framework scales across titles. You apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate analysis, conversion, and testing, delivering on time and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Port existing C/C++ game titles as part of a planned porting programme
  • Write clean, efficient C/C++ code following standards and release processes
  • Analyze codebases to identify external dependencies and implement port changes
  • Verify and tune ported titles to match original performance and behavior
  • Document a repeatable porting process and produce actionable technical guidance
  • Oversee engineers porting titles, review work, and refine guidance
  • Utilize Claude Code and other AI-assisted tools to accelerate analysis, conversion, and testing
  • Own software components with self-managed plans and timely delivery
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
  • Collaborate with QA to verify ports and reproduce defects
Key requirements
  • Advanced C and C++ skills, including memory management, performance tuning, and debugging
  • Hands-on graphics programming with DirectX and/or OpenGL
  • Commercial track record of porting or migrating games or similar software
  • Ability to create reusable technical documentation and mentor engineers
  • Strong communication and collaboration with QA and engineering teams
  • Practical use of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality
  • Proactive, organized work style with ability to work independently
  • Experience in Agile environments
