Overview

In this role, you will contribute as a Java-focused Senior Software Engineer within a Data & Technology team. You will deliver end-to-end software in Java, shaping incremental releases and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role involves occasional client-facing activities, demos, and training, with a mindset of continuous improvement through exploring new technologies. This is a hands-on position in a government-facing environment where your experience and mentorship will help drive scalable solutions and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Full SDLC in Java and delivering incremental releases
  • Participate in occasional client site integrations, demos, training, and business development activities
  • Support continuous improvement by researching alternative technologies, tools, and methods
Key requirements
  • 5-8 years of Java development experience
  • Familiarity with Spring or Hibernate
  • Experience in Agile environments
  • Mentorship experience for senior role
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (advantageous)
