Overview

In this role you will combine deep hands-on engineering with architecture leadership to build robust end-to-end fintech fraud solutions. You will work across engineering, operations, analytics and compliance to shape platforms that detect and prevent financial crime. The role offers influence across teams while delivering technical excellence in Java, data processing and platform design. You will engage with established fraud tooling to scale detection capabilities and ensure regulatory alignment.

Responsibilities
  • hands-on full-stack engineering (40%) across Java, data, DB and related tech
  • design and evolve end-to-end platform architecture (30%)
  • shape and guide fincrime/fraud platforms and tooling (e.g., Feedzai, NetReveal, BioCatch, Featurespace) (30%)
  • partner with fraud operations, analytics and compliance teams to drive cross-functional outcomes
Key requirements
  • 7–10 years of experience
  • deep technical credibility and comfort with coding
  • strong AML and Fraud domain knowledge, typologies, detection strategies, regulations
  • ability to design end-to-end solutions and architectures
