Senior Software Engineer

In this role you will design, develop, and deliver software solutions that meet business needs while aligning with Mastercard standards. You will lead technical efforts, mentor teammates, and own the full SDLC from requirements to release. You’ll balance performance, security, and scalability while guiding both internal and offshore teams. This position offers the chance to drive engineering excellence within a global payments platform and contribute to innovative technology roadmaps.

• Design, develop, and implement technical solutions aligned with Mastercard standards
• Lead day-to-day development and maintenance to meet SLAs
• Own the full SDLC including requirements, design, testing, deployment, and rollback planning
• Mentor teammates and deliver technical training
• Perform system maintenance, incident management, and on-call support
• Champion QA, governance, and continuous improvement across the lifecycle
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors, including offshore teams
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and PoCs for new tech

• 5+ years of hands-on software development in Java and Spring Framework
• Experience building secure, enterprise-scale solutions
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
• Previous experience in Financial Services is preferred
