Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship within project teams
  • Design for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Engage with product, design, and stakeholders to align architecture with business needs
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated, scalable software with architectural excellence
  • Own system design and grooming for features within a subsystem
  • Uphold code quality through reviews and optimization
  • Tackle complex technical problems with innovative solutions
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams for planning and execution
  • Pursue continuous learning and share knowledge
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
Key requirements
  • 7-10+ years in software development, SaaS or cloud-based apps
  • Experience leading or playing key roles in major software projects
  • Experience with large-scale, high-availability systems
  • Security-conscious design experience
  • Experience with observability (logs, metrics, traces) and business metrics
  • Experience selecting and integrating third-party components
  • CI/CD experience with a strong testing pyramid
  • Agile methodologies
  • Feature/release toggles as branching strategy
  • Contract-first design and cross-system negotiations
  • Contributing to technical documentation
