Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We're supporting a growing technology consultancy delivering secure, business-critical software solutions across a range of major government and enterprise programmes.

This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while working across the full software development lifecycle. You'll join an Agile engineering team building modern cloud-native applications and contributing to large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, building and enhancing modern software solutions using Java and cloud technologies.
• Working across the full software development lifecycle, from design through to deployment and support.
• Developing scalable applications using modern engineering principles and best practices.
• Building CI/CD pipelines and supporting automated testing approaches.
• Deploying solutions into AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Collaborating with clients, architects and engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges.

What We're Looking For

• Strong commercial experience with Java development.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and modern delivery approaches.
• Current SC Clearance is highly desirable, although clearable candidates will also be considered.
