Senior Software Engineer

In this role you will design and deliver scalable, secure software that underpins Waters’ analytical technologies. You’ll help modernize platforms, drive technical excellence, and apply AI-assisted development and automation to boost productivity and customer value. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to solve complex challenges and influence the technical direction of our products. • Design and develop high-quality, scalable software to meet customer needs
• Lead technical design and architecture for long-term product sustainability and extensibility
• Ensure software quality and security via reviews, automated testing, and best practices
• Leverage AI-assisted development and emerging tech to boost productivity and value
• Implement and improve DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to align with product goals
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring and knowledge sharing to raise team capability

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or higher)
• Proven experience with C#, .NET, TypeScript
• Strong fundamentals in APIs, microservices, design patterns, testing, secure development
• Accountability, problem-solving, delivering high-quality outcomes balancing tech and business needs
• Ability to act as Technical Lead, mentoring others and promoting best practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across Agile, cross-functional, and global teams
