Overview

In this role you will join our Platform and Integration team in Edinburgh to develop and maintain Core Banking modules, implement change requests, and support live clients. You’ll collaborate with Product and Parameterization SMEs to design, test, and deliver high-quality solutions, guiding projects from analysis to documentation. You will become a subject-matter expert to drive product improvements and own code components, with opportunities to deepen banking knowledge. This position offers a hands-on development path in a globally active fintech environment with hybrid working.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance Core Banking modules
  • Develop change requests
  • Provide support to live clients
  • Collaborate with SMEs from Product and Parameterization teams to design, develop, test and maintain solutions
  • Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation
  • Ensure quality and maintainability, debug and support clients
  • Become a subject matter expert and contribute to product improvements
  • Estimate work packages
Key requirements
  • Proven hands-on experience as a Software Developer
  • Expertise in SQL or PL/SQL is an advantage
