Senior Software Engineer

In this role you will design and build software in a cross-functional, agile environment to support mission-critical cyber and defence projects. You will work closely with stakeholders and peers to deliver milestones and continuously improve your team’s software. You will contribute to technical direction and apply industry best practices across enterprise-grade applications and cloud-enabled services. • Experience in an Agile delivery team
• Java development with Spring Boot
• Front-end development with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue)
• Building enterprise-grade web applications or backend services
• Cloud & DevOps experience (AWS or Azure)
• Containerisation and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or equivalent)
• SQL and NoSQL data stores
• Familiarity with structured and unstructured data concepts
• Messaging/streaming systems (Kafka, AWS SQS)
• Data visualization techniques
• Unit testing and test automation
• Git and branching/PR workflows
• Active eDV clearance (required for role)
