Senior Software Engineer

Join Visa’s Middleware PRE team to design and build reliable, AI-enabled automation at global scale. • Design and develop scalable automation platforms and reliability tooling
• Write maintainable code in Python, Java, or Go
• Create deployment orchestration, testing, validation, and rollback systems
• Develop self-service tooling to reduce toil and boost productivity
• Enhance monitoring, alerting, and system visibility across middleware
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement durable solutions
• Improve performance, resiliency, and operability using metrics and traces
• Build AI-driven automation and agent-based workflows for reliability

• 1-5 years of software engineering experience or equivalent SRE-DevOps experience
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Go
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible)
• Working knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Linux/Unix experience
