Senior Software Engineer, Agent Endpoint DLP

As a Senior Software Engineer on FortiDLP's Cyber R&D team, you’ll help shape the endpoint data protection agent, focusing on kernel/OS-level development and feature ownership. You’ll contribute to code, tests, and reviews, while maintaining high quality and secure coding practices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll drive improvements and new capabilities for the FortiDLP agent across platforms. This role offers impact by advancing endpoint security for a global customer base and working with a diverse tech stack.

• Implement new capabilities within the FortiDLP endpoint agent and lead development efforts
• Maintain and improve existing FortiDLP agent functionality
• Contribute to code, tests, and code reviews

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience
• Familiarity with computer science fundamentals
• Proficiency in Go, C, C++, Java, Scala, C#, or Swift
• Kernel and device driver development for Windows, Linux, or Mac
• Experience with systems analytics and dynamic tracing tools (e.g., Instruments, VTune, DTrace, eBPF)
• Observability, logging and metrics
• Security principles including PKI, certificates and cryptography
