Overview

As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you’ll design and build scalable web applications that power Causaly’s AI platform for biomedical research. You’ll work with product and research teams to ship features across the development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment and monitoring. Your work will impact enterprise-scale knowledge discovery and decision support for biopharma customers. This role combines backend and API work with modern frontend components, in a mission-driven, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build scalable, reliable web applications (API and business services)
  • Collaborate with product and research teams to define and ship new features
  • Contribute across the development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and monitoring
  • Maintain and improve code quality, performance, and maintainability
Key requirements
  • 4+ years work experience with back-end applications
  • Solid understanding of Javascript
  • Familiarity with Node.js
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Good knowledge of web architecture (URIs, HTTP, Caching, etc)
  • Proficiency in Git version control
  • Familiarity with UNIX terminal
  • Excellent knowledge of English (verbal and written)
  • Solid understanding of relational databases
