Join DeepL’s API Enterprise team to boost adoption of our enterprise API platform. You’ll shape governance, data residency, and security controls for global organizations, while ensuring production reliability and scalable backend design. This role balances deep technical work with cross-team collaboration to deliver enterprise-grade capabilities. - Own features that drive enterprise adoption of the API, including usage insights, cost controls, and governance tooling
- Design and implement governance and compliance controls (roles, data residency, auditability) for enterprise IT and security admins
- Manage end-to-end service delivery with on-call participation, maintaining high API reliability and security
- Architect across the enterprise ecosystem, coordinating dependencies across teams to ship cohesive capabilities
- Contribute to high-quality backend systems with strong testing, monitoring, and SLOs to prevent breaking changes
- Enterprise-first mindset with focus on IT and security admins as primary users
- Backend mastery at scale in C# / .NET, with experience on large distributed systems
- Hands-on enterprise API experience (MCP, CLIs, OAuth) and secure, extensible integrations
- Proven cross-team leadership and ability to align stakeholders
- End-to-end ownership of services including production operations and incident response
- Experience leveraging AI-powered tooling to accelerate delivery
- Bonus: zero-downtime migrations, metering/usage-data systems, compliance environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
