Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer on FortiDLP, you will strengthen server-side services, APIs, and data pipelines at scale. You’ll own features, improve existing capabilities, and contribute to tests and reviews, all while upholding secure coding practices. You’ll collaborate across teams to coordinate progress and, when needed, assist with operational tasks. This role offers impact in a fast-growing data-protection platform and a culture of high engineering standards.

Responsibilities
  • Implement new capabilities in FortiDLP server-side services and lead development
  • Maintain and improve existing platform functionalities
  • Contribute to code, tests, and code reviews
  • Maintain strong code quality, maintainability, and secure coding practices
  • Coordinate with team and cross-team stakeholders to track progress
  • Optionally assist with operational tasks for FortiDLP service
Key requirements
  • Strong programming skills with 3–5 years of software engineering experience
  • Experience with backend development concepts and CS fundamentals
  • Experience with Golang
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Elasticsearch, Postgres)
  • Experience with micro-service architecture and Cloud environments
  • Experience with high-volume data pipelines
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Direct experience in the listed technologies is a bonus but not required
