As a Senior Embedded Software Developer, you will bring Unity’s Real Time 3D runtime to embedded platforms (Embedded Linux, QNX, Android Automotive OS) and drive integration with native Android, multi-screen HMIs, and performance optimization on constrained hardware. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to support automotive HMI experiences and shape platform direction. This role offers ownership of meaningful platform areas, direct customer interaction, and opportunities to influence how Unity scales in automotive environments.

- Bring Unity’s RT3D runtime to embedded platforms and develop new features and integrations
- Integrate Unity into native Android apps and build graphics/windowing for multi-screen HMIs
- Profile and optimize runtime performance, memory, startup times on constrained SoCs
- Partner with customers as a technical contact, investigate issues and enable production success
- Raise engineering bar through design discussions, code reviews, and automated testing
- Proficiency in C/C++/C#
- Experience on Embedded Linux, QNX and hypervisor environments
- Hands-on AAOS or AOSP development on the platform layer and Android lifecycle integration
- Graphics engineering with Vulkan and OpenGL ES for RT3D and UI rendering
- Performance profiling and optimization on resource-constrained hardware
- Customer collaboration with business-level English
