• Own revenue-critical systems from problem definition through deployment and production reliability
• Make high-stakes architectural decisions (monolith vs. microservice, consistency vs. availability) with incomplete information
• Translate technical constraints into business terms for Product Managers to drive faster value delivery
• Choose pragmatic technologies for long-term maintainability, balancing core stack and new tools
• Design systems with scale in mind and ensure end-to-end ownership of features
