As a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack-AI, you will shape AI-powered products for BMI within Fitch Group’s Technology teams. You’ll build scalable, enterprise-grade web applications and ML/AI solutions, collaborating with product and engineering to translate business needs into robust architectures. You’ll work in a modern, cloud-based, microservices-driven stack, promoting best practices and secure, efficient delivery. Responsibilities
  • Design and build ML/AI solutions aligned to product outcomes
  • Maintain and enhance microservices-based components for the application suite
  • Create and enforce development best practices and guidelines across applications
  • Write automated tests (unit, integration, performance, visual regression) and contribute to CI/CD with security and quality focus
  • Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to define, develop, and optimize architectures and engineering processes
  • Work within agile teams on design, development, debugging, and deployment, ensuring cross-browser/cross-platform quality
  • Develop data quality ownership and deepen domain knowledge within allocated areas of ownership
Key requirements
  • 7+ years in designing and developing distributed application architectures of moderate-to-high complexity
  • 5+ years in software engineering or applied ML with strong Python and backend development
  • Hands-on experience building GenAI apps with LangChain and LangGraph, including agent design and orchestration
  • Proficiency in ML/NLP and generative models, embeddings, vector stores, RAG, and LLM integration/fine-tuning (OpenAI, LLaMA, Cohere)
  • Strong Python coding with FastAPI, PyTorch/TensorFlow, MLflow
  • 3-5+ years building scalable web apps with React/TypeScript
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD including DevSecOps
  • Familiarity with modern data architecture and engineering technologies
