Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) — Java & React

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you will be a hands-on, backend-led engineer building reliable JVM-based services and APIs within a high-performing squad. You’ll work across backend and frontend (Kotlin/Java with React and TypeScript) to deliver production-ready features and scalable digital services. The role spans discovery, delivery, deployment and continuous improvement, in an AI-augmented engineering environment. You will own significant features, shape technical decisions, and collaborate closely with product and design teams to drive impact in complex, regulated spaces.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain JVM-based services using Kotlin or Java
- Design and develop APIs and integrations
- Create reusable services and components across teams
- Contribute to API standards, documentation, and versioning
- Deliver end-to-end features connecting backend with front-end interfaces
- Implement automated tests and maintain test quality
- Experiment with AI-assisted engineering tools and validate outputs
- Develop event-driven workflows using messaging/streaming tech
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and pipelines improvements
- Embed observability, logs, metrics, and tracing for operability
- Consider security, governance, and reliability in engineering decisions
- Share knowledge and foster collaborative, low-ego team culture
- Strong commercial experience on server-side applications with Kotlin or modern Java (Java 17+)
- Solid knowledge of the JVM ecosystem and backend practices
- Experience designing and operating APIs and distributed services
- Understanding of reliability, performance, security
- Proven automated testing experience
- Relational database experience
- Frontend experience with React and TypeScript
- Familiarity with CI/CD in production
- Experience working in agile, product-focused teams
- Curiosity about AI-augmented engineering and readiness to adopt new methods
