Overview
In this role, you will shape DeepL’s flagship translation products by delivering user-focused features that span the UI and backend. You’ll work on enterprise-grade localization workflows and consumer-grade experiences, ensuring seamless integration of complex document formats and branding across 100+ languages. You’ll collaborate with Research, Product, and Design to translate AI constraints into intuitive UX while driving performance and transparency. This is a hands-on, product-first role where your work directly influences user adoption and business impact.

- Architect and build end-to-end user-facing features for primary translation products
- Develop UI for translation flows and robust backend logic to handle diverse document formats without losing formatting
- Integrate DeepL into enterprise workflows and maintain brand voice across languages
- Design systems that balance complex backend requirements with intuitive UX for both B2C and enterprise users
- Collaborate with Research, Product, and Design to translate AI constraints into impactful user experiences
- Prototype, measure user friction, and iterate quickly in the face of ambiguous requirements
- Product-first mindset with focus on user adoption and reducing friction
- Front-end heavy full-stack fluency across React, Python, and C#/.NET Core
- High agency and bias for action in diagnosing bottlenecks and filling gaps
