Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer at Kargo, you will help lead the in-app ad delivery team, shipping net-new integrations and improving ad delivery across client- and server-side systems. You will own key initiatives, drive reliability, and collaborate with stakeholders to maximize in-app revenue. You’ll work across multiple tech stacks to support billions of ad requests and empower clients with actionable insights. This role offers a chance to shape high-impact ad tech at a fast-growing company.
Responsibilities- Own and ship key In-App initiatives aligned to the product roadmap
- Launch new in-app integrations to maximize revenue and iterate on ad delivery and measurement
- Establish engineering ownership for In-App ad delivery to ensure sustainable maintenance and support
- Improve reliability and maintainability of In-App and video ad delivery, address technical debt and operational risks
- Provide dedicated engineering support for Online Video (OLV) with clear ownership
- Strengthen knowledge sharing and documentation across the stack to aid team support
- Collaborate across the full stack from ideation to delivery of high-quality capabilities
- 5+ years in software engineering with experience leading teams and initiatives
- Background developing client- and server-side solutions in ad tech
- Proficiency in a major modern programming language (Golang, JavaScript/NodeJS, PHP, Python)
- Experience with AI tools and AI workflows, plus SDLC, QA, and deployment processes
- Comfort working with business stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements
- Experience querying large datasets to analyze trends and troubleshoot
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Apache Airflow, Dockerized Kubernetes) is a plus
