Senior Software Engineer I - Platform - Cloud Foundations

In this role you will help build and sustain Wise’s cloud platform, focusing on scalable, secure infrastructure across AWS and other cloud providers. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet compliance, cost, and availability goals while enabling fast, reliable delivery. Your work will shape the cloud foundation that supports Wise’s growing financial services network. • Build, maintain, and support Wise’s cloud platform.
• Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective outcomes.

• Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solution architectures on AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automating provisioning, DevOps, or CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of Golang and/or Python
• Proficient in written and verbal communication with ability to articulate concepts and facilitate cross‑team collaboration.
