Senior Software Engineer at Epos Now leads high-impact technical initiatives within the Engineering team in Norwich. You will own the end-to-end delivery of a major Embedded Accountancy Project, shaping system design and overseeing integration of robust financial workflows. You’ll mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and ensure scalable, cloud-native platform growth. This role offers autonomy and an opportunity to drive a strategic, high-visibility initiative that underpins the company’s platform expansion.
Responsibilities- Own end-to-end delivery of the Embedded Accountancy Project
- Guide architecture, health, and long-term quality of financial integrations
- Mentor and develop engineering team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to interpret requirements and align on design
- Define and measure success through project KPIs
- Ensure seamless integration of robust financial workflows into the platform infrastructure
- Senior or Lead Software Engineer with extensive commercial experience
- Strong OO programming, backend design, and database architectures
- Experience building or integrating APIs, data pipelines, microservices, or financial/ledger systems
- Ability to interpret complex technical requirements and design scalable systems
- Willingness to work from Norwich Head Office (Unit 7)
