Senior Software Engineer | Identity and Access Management | Full-Stack

In this role you will lead the Identity experience end-to-end, shaping secure, scalable authentication and authorization for DeepL. You’ll own critical identity systems across internal and external users, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly experiences. You’ll balance reliability with developer productivity, using AI-powered tools to accelerate architectural decisions. • Architect and build end-to-end identity features across the identity stack
• Own business-critical systems from problem definition to production reliability
• Lead incident response and maintain high code quality and operational health
• Collaborate with Product Management, Support, and other engineering teams to solve complex challenges
• Choose and apply technology that ensures maintainability and scale, leveraging AI for boilerplate code, testing, and debugging

• Backend mastery in C# / .NET Core and distributed systems design
• Experience with authentication/authorization, SSO/OIDC, and enterprise security requirements
• Strong system design skills for high availability in large-scale environments
• Production operations experience including incident response and on-call ownership
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and PostgreSQL; frontend exposure (React/JavaScript) a plus
