In this role you will build and evolve DeepL’s flagship translation products, shaping an enterprise-grade UX that feels instant for end users yet handles complex localization workflows. You’ll work across UI and backend layers, ensuring brand voice across 100+ languages and seamless enterprise integrations. You’ll balance user experience with robust architecture, leveraging AI tools to accelerate delivery. This position blends product impact with technical leadership in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.

- Architect and deliver complex, user-facing features for primary translation products (UI for Customization Hub, backend for document parsing/translation with formatting retention)
- Build interfaces that support both B2C immediacy and enterprise collaboration and localization workflows
- Make high-stakes technical decisions on state management, API integrations, and performance; prototype and iterate quickly
- Collaborate with Research, Product, and Design to translate AI constraints into intuitive UX and measurable performance
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development, testing, and debugging to focus on high-value architecture
- Product-first mindset with focus on user adoption and friction reduction
- Full-stack fluency: interactive UI in React; backend in C#/.NET Core or Python
- High agency and bias for action; ability to self-start and unblock teams
- System thinking in UI/UX design; manage large document states and terminology rules
