Senior Software Engineer - London

Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year

• Strong computer science fundamentals

• Clear understanding of why we are building what we are building
• Ability to think in product terms, not just at the code level

• Ability to get things done yourself instead of waiting to be told what to do
• Willingness to learn our stack, even if you have not worked with it before or have not worked with frontend recently

Responsibilities:

• Join our Send Core team and help build the critical infrastructure behind every sending transaction
• Help make sending money as easy and fast as paying for groceries with your card
• Maintain and improve our core infrastructure
• Build customer-facing products that power the send journey
• Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver the best experience for our customers
• Own the systems that every sending transaction depends on across the entire platform
• Make architectural decisions for the core send components to keep them reliable and performant
• Work primarily on backend development and also contribute to frontend work
• Explore ways to improve our products and our day-to-day work
