Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in Advertising, you will build and productionize ML models for content understanding in ads across languages and formats. You’ll collaborate with software and ML engineers to improve brand safety, monetization opportunities, and moderation/generation of ad creatives. The role focuses on scalable, low-latency ML systems that support a global ad-serving platform. You’ll contribute to ML strategy and run experiments to drive measurable impact for advertisers and viewers.

• Develop scalable ML models and optimization strategies for Ads
• Run A/B experiments, collect data, and perform statistical analysis
• Collaborate with software engineers and ML engineers to deliver end-to-end production solutions
• Improve scalability, efficiency, and automation of ML-driven ad serving systems
• Partner with senior stakeholders to plan and drive the ML strategy for Ad Serving

• Experience in tech lead roles delivering large cross-functional projects
• Experience with state-of-the-art modeling frameworks and infrastructure
• Experience building ML at large scale with low latency
• Experience developing deep learning algorithms, especially in computer vision
• Strong understanding of regression, classification, tree-based methods, neural networks, sequence models, and NLP (e.g., Word2Vec or Bert)
• Ability to define KPIs and objective functions
• Willingness to start as inaugural Ad Serving team hire in Cambridge
