Senior Software Engineer (.Net)

Senior Software Engineer | £70,000 - £90,000 Basic | Manchester, Hybrid

I am hiring for a Fintech business looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer.

As much as the job title is Senior Engineer, it could just as easily be Principle Developer, Senior Product Engineer or Technical Lead given the amount of ownership involved in this role.

The tech is good, the work is interesting, and the autonomy and impact is very real.

The engineering team is small, senior and makes use of AI and automation, so you'll have real ownership and a big influence on the product and how the team grows.

The role is full-stack, end2end, but the role leans to the back-end.

Skills Needed:

• Experienced working with .Net to a high level


• A good understanding of idempotency, distributed systems and integrations


• Fintech or financial domain experience ideally but not essential


• Comfort owning work in production in a fast-moving team


• Database and cloud experience (ideally SQL & Azure but open)


• Experience with AI assisted coding
