Senior Software Engineer - NWX Networx

• Design and deliver scalable, multi-service systems with attention to edge cases and long-term maintainability
• Own large features or components from concept to production support
• Lead architecture decisions and influence cross-team design with guidance from Engineering Lead
• Establish architectural patterns, standards, and best practices; enable team continuity through documentation
• Lead story refinement with Product Owners and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives
• Facilitate team Agile ceremonies and drive process improvements for delivery predictability
• Drive quality with TDD/BDD, automated testing, security reviews, and shift-left practices
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to raise technical capability and code quality
• Lead complex feature reviews and governance of quality across the team
• Grow team capabilities with knowledge sharing and responsible AI governance
• Proactively identify and resolve technical debt and system improvements
• Establish tooling and documentation standards for complex systems

• 5-7 years of professional software development experience
• Proven ability to deliver complex, multi-system solutions
• Experience with highly scalable, internet-facing solutions serving millions of users
• Demonstrated technical leadership through architecture decisions and mentoring
• Track record of establishing standards and influencing technology choices
• Active mentoring experience with junior and mid-level engineers
• Experience leading technical initiatives spanning multiple sprints or quarters

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication for non-technical stakeholders
• Technical leadership without formal authority
• Frontend: ASP.NET MVC (performance optimization and component architecture) or backend-focused frontend experience
• Backend: .NET Core, C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET Core Web APIs, REST, distributed systems
• Database: SQL, NoSQL, Cosmos DB
