Senior Software Engineer- Personalisation

In this role you will help evolve the Identity Platform, delivering secure, scalable authentication and identity services used by millions. You will shape technical direction, own end-to-end features, and contribute to resilient, cloud-native systems that empower product teams and stakeholders. You will work with cross-functional peers to improve developer usability, performance, and security across the estate. • Design, build, and evolve secure, scalable authentication and identity services for millions of users
• Own features end-to-end—from design to production support
• Shape the technical direction of the Identity Platform balancing experience, security, and performance
• Develop resilient APIs and backend services for authentication, authorisation and identity management
• Promote engineering excellence through maintainable, well-tested code and best practices
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, pair programming, and knowledge sharing

• Senior software engineer with experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems
• Strong Java and/or Kotlin and modern backend frameworks
• Experience delivering secure, scalable services in cloud-native environments
• Strong DevOps understanding: CI/CD, automation, operational ownership
• Ability to design systems balancing security, usability, resilience, and performance
• Experience with identity and access management technologies and standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect) is highly desirable
