Overview
As Platform Engineer for the Portal team, you own and evolve the cloud infrastructure, RBAC/IAM, CI/CD, and developer tooling to empower the engineering squad. You’ll ensure scalable, secure multi-tenant environments and provide guardrails that boost velocity and safety. The role blends cloud, DevOps, and product-minded tooling work in a fast-moving startup-within-a-scale-up setting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape a robust developer experience and platform at scale.
Responsibilities- Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and developer tooling (Azure-focused) using Terraform across development, staging, and production
- Own and evolve RBAC/IAM for cloud/infrastructure and application/product layers in a multi-tenant Portal
- Improve CI/CD pipelines to boost developer velocity, reliability, and deployment safety
- Support and enhance Kubernetes-based deployment workflows and platform services
- Develop internal tools and observability capabilities for scalable, reliable software delivery
- Participate in on-call rotation, respond to incidents, and contribute to root cause analysis
- Apply security and networking best practices to harden the platform and educate developers
- Strong hands-on cloud infrastructure experience, preferably Azure, with Terraform/IaC experience
- RBAC/IAM knowledge at cloud/infrastructure level; multi-tenant experience is valuable
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Security and networking fundamentals; hands-on practical experience
- Experience in on-call/support role
- Strong communicator and coach for developers, not just builders
