Overview
In this Senior Software Engineer role, you will build and support a diverse tech stack enabling cross‑exchange crypto trading at scale. You’ll work with traders and researchers to translate high‑level needs into robust software for 24/7 global operations. You will design trading, connectivity, and monitoring systems and ensure performance through testing and integration. You’ll collaborate across engineers, quants, and traders to deliver tailored solutions that drive the firm’s market‑making ambitions. This is a hands‑on opportunity to shape critical trading infrastructure in a fast‑growing crypto environment.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the cryptoassets team to support 24/7 global trading operations
- Architect and build software systems for trading, exchange connectivity, and monitoring
- Develop across multiple languages (Python or Java) to complete development tasks
- Conduct unit, functional, and integration testing to ensure reliability
- Handle legacy code and new development projects
- Foster collaboration among traders, researchers, and software engineers
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting mission-critical, high-performance applications
- Strong experience in C++, Rust, Java and Python
- Expertise in network communication (multicast, WebSockets)
- Proficiency in inter-process messaging, microservices, and API design
- Familiarity with Functional Programming and Immutable Design
- Trading systems experience is desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
