Senior Software Engineer, Remote Compose Wear OS
Join the Remote Compose team to build a cross-platform UI engine for Wear OS and Android devices. You will craft high-performance Rust solutions for resource-constrained wearables and optimize embedded operations. Design and benchmark rendering, shaders, and curved text shaping for low-power MCUs. Maintain small-footprint libraries and manage display offload lifecycles, enabling end-to-end, cross-device UI experiences. This role offers impact in shaping wearable UI at scale and collaborating across Google teams.
