Overview

In this role, you will design and implement reusable GitHub workflows and backend services to empower hundreds of application teams to automate and control software releases. You’ll collaborate with a core engineering group building standards and tooling that scale across the organization. You will gather requirements, measure usage, and continuously improve the tooling with data and feedback. This is an opportunity to shape release automation and contribute to a product-driven engineering platform.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build reusable GitHub workflows adopted by application teams
  • Develop automation features in partnership with Control Owners
  • Instrument usage and gather data to identify improvement opportunities
  • Analyze data and user feedback to refine solutions
  • Engage with application teams to collect requirements and understand practices
  • Support teams by answering user queries and enabling self-service through documentation
Key requirements
  • Experience writing well-tested backend code in TypeScript or JavaScript for Node.js
  • Experience with modern software development practices (TDD, trunk-based development, iterative delivery, small releases)
  • Proven ability to translate vague requirements into deliverables aligned with product strategy
