Senior Software Engineering Leader

Lead distributed systems and backend engineering for Splunk’s fulfillment platform, shaping architecture, reliability, and delivery across complex initiatives. As a software development leader, you will guide technical direction for the Delivery Orchestration Platform. You will oversee end-to-end initiatives, influence roadmaps, and strengthen engineering practices. The work spans API design, cloud infrastructure, observability, security, and scalable order management systems. Key Responsibilities:

Lead large technical initiatives from design through production delivery Manage dependencies, workstreams, and platform trade-offs across teams Shape engineering roadmaps for fulfillment platform evolution Set standards through design reviews and code reviews Mentor engineers and guide architectural decisions Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and eight years of related experience Backend experience with Go or Python Strong distributed systems and API design foundation Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives end-to-end Experience mentoring engineers at multiple levels Apply your backend, architecture, and engineering leadership experience to Splunk’s scalable fulfillment and provisioning systems.
