QNX seeks a Senior Software Engineering Manager to direct design, development, and verification for its Development Tools suite and QNX Software Center. You will provide technical direction, people leadership, and operational oversight throughout the development lifecycle. The work spans IDE-based tools, device-side tools, safety, security, and customer-focused product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead engineering teams through direction, coaching, and continuous development
  • Guide technical decisions and resolve architectural debates
  • Oversee tool design, development, maintenance, and verification
  • Maintain qualification analysis for ISO 26262 and ISO 21434
  • Review designs, code, testing, and complex issue resolution

Requirements:

  • Experience leading engineering teams in product-driven environments
  • Embedded software development experience in C or tools development experience
  • Experience with Java or integrated development environments
  • Strong foundation in ISO 26262 and ISO 21434
  • Ability to deliver simple, usable user experiences
