Senior Software Engineering Manager QNX Tools

Lead QNX development tools with strategic technical direction, people leadership, and operational oversight across the full software development lifecycle.

QNX seeks a Senior Software Engineering Manager to guide its Development Tools suite and QNX Software Center. You will build high-performing teams, mentor talent, and drive product excellence. The work spans IDE-based tools, device-side services, customer requirements, and tool qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering teams through direction, coaching, and continuous development
• Guide technical decisions, design discussions, and architectural alignment
• Oversee development and maintenance of QNX tools and services
• Review designs, code, specifications, and unit test implementations
• Resolve complex software issues and champion product reliability

Requirements:

• Success leading engineering teams in product-driven environments
• Technical depth balanced with strategic oversight
• Experience coaching engineers and developing future leaders
• Embedded software development in C or tools development experience
• Foundation in ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 standards
