Senior Software QA Developer (SaaS)

Job Description

Responsible for quality assurance of selected SaaS product features (Cloud WAF, GLSB, ABP modules) and establishing an efficient automated testing process covering most testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for functional modules.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Collaborate closely with developers to identify, track, and resolve defects.
• Work with support teams to analyze and address customer-reported issues.
• Review user guides and deployment documentation to ensure accuracy and clarity.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and L7 application protocols (e.g., DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies such as WAF, API security, bot protection, UEBA, device fingerprinting.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, JavaScript, or Go; experience with Robot Framework is a plus.
• Solid understanding of QA processes, testing methodologies, and software development best practices.
• Proficiency in traffic load and protocol testing tools, including Linux utilities and commercial equipment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• High motivation, responsibility, quick learning, and team‑player attitude.

Education & Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• Canadian citizenship is required.

Salary and Benefits

Canada base salary range: $80,000 – $110,000 annually; final offer based on market and candidate profile.
