Senior Software Tech Lead

Salary: $80,000 - 135,000 per year

• We serve as the technical authority for the APM Analytics platform, shaping the technical vision and roadmap with Product Management.
• We partner with Product Management to turn customer and market needs into architecture, product capabilities, engineering priorities, and release plans.
• We lead the design and development of scalable, secure, cloud-native software solutions.
• We make informed technical trade-off decisions across functionality, scalability, security, performance, maintainability, cost, schedule, and long-term strategy.
• We assess architectural options and guide decisions on technology selection, build-versus-buy choices, cloud services, AI adoption, and third-party integrations.
• We coordinate, prioritize, and assign work across software engineers while mentoring the team through architecture reviews, code reviews, technical coaching, and best practices.
• We drive software architecture across cloud services, APIs, databases, microservices, event-driven systems, AI/ML integration, and enterprise data platforms.
• We collaborate with systems, embedded software, hardware, and application software teams to integrate real-time operational data from connected devices into enterprise platforms.
• We lead technical conversations with customers and strategic partners, translating operational challenges into digital solutions.
• We ensure technical decisions support customer value, business goals, product direction, and long-term platform success.
• We promote modern AI-assisted development practices while establishing guardrails, coding standards, and review processes that support secure, maintainable, enterprise-quality software.
• We evaluate emerging technologies and AI development tools to improve engineering productivity while ensuring validation through sound engineering practices, testing, and peer review.
• We foster engineering excellence through technical curiosity, continuous learning, design reviews, knowledge sharing, and AI-enabled productivity.
• We support Agile planning, technical estimation, risk assessment, release planning, and continuous improvement efforts.
