Working within an agile V-cycle delivery framework,thetestteamis responsible forconductingfunctional,componentand integration levelsoftwaretestingagainst requirements.Close collaboration and clear communicationwiththesoftwareteam is essential.

Responsibilities

    • Developtest plans against project plan.
    • Designcomponentfunctional and integrationtests cases against design specifications.
    • Execute tests cases and generate test reports.
    • Perform issues resolutionand regression testing to root-causefailures.
    • Review requirements and architecture to proactively flag gaps, inconsistencies, or ambiguities.
    • Coordinatewith software development teamon testing outcomes and failures.

Qualifications

  • Degree(BEng/ MEng) in Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, SoftwareEngineeringor closely related discipline.

Essential skills

    • AutomotiveSW testing in HIL,componentand vehicle environments.
    • Familiarity with verification test tooling (e.g. VectorCANoe/CANalyzer,dSPACE, or similar)
    • Experience with requirements and test management tools(e.g. DOORS,Polarion, or similar)
    • Bodyand HVAC domaintestingexperience.
    • Good understanding of vehicle electrical/electronic architecture.
    • Reading and interpretingdesign specifications and Simulink models.
    • Experience in the automotive sector, includingunderstanding of V-cycle software developmentmethodology.
    • Test documentation and reporting.

Desired skills

    • Knowledge of Euro7 emission legislation and its software/control implications.
    • Experience working directly withanOEM or Tier 1.
