Senior Software Testing Automation Specialist

Lead software testing and QA automation with Selenium in a hybrid senior specialist role requiring onsite work in Toronto two or three days weekly.

This Senior Systems Testing and QA Specialist plans and executes testing for large and small systems. The work covers GUI, API, functional, end-to-end, regression, integration, mobile, and non-functional testing. You will develop test strategies, plans, scripts, cases, and test data while collaborating with technical developers, testing leads, IT leads, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on testing strategies, plans, tools, and required resources
• Execute complex regression tests for integrated applications
• Create automated test scripts and test cases using Selenium
• Clarify testing requirements with technical developers
• Mentor peers and provide knowledge transfer

Requirements:

• Experience in software development, quality assurance, and testing
• Hands-on SQL Server database scripting experience
• Knowledge of Jira, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodology
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with automated tools and version control systems
