Senior Solution Architect

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will help shape the architecture capability during a major technology transformation. You will collaborate with senior business stakeholders, technical teams and delivery functions to design scalable, secure and commercially viable solutions. You contribute to governance, standards and best practices while guiding cloud adoption, AI initiatives and modernisation efforts. This role offers the chance to influence architecture across solution, enterprise and data domains within a legal-services context.

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned to business goals and architecture principles
• Produce high-level solution designs and review low-level technical designs
• Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions
• Bridge between senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams
• Contribute to architecture governance, standards, design patterns and best practices
• Define integration approaches across enterprise apps, SaaS platforms and cloud services
• Support large-scale transformation and modernisation programmes
• Evaluate options and advise on build vs buy decisions
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, resilience and performance requirements
• Mentor technical leads and develop architecture capability

• Experience in greenfield or low-maturity architecture environments
• Strong background in Solution Architecture within complex enterprises
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies, cloud services and SaaS
• Experience delivering application, integration and cloud architecture solutions
• Strong stakeholder management with C-suite and technical teams
• Experience producing HLDs and reviewing technical designs
• Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns and enterprise architecture
• Experience supporting cloud transformation, modernization and migration
• Exposure to AI technologies or enterprise AI programmes
• Broad architectural mindset across solution, enterprise, data and business domains
• Experience with TOGAF-aligned or similar frameworks
