Senior Solution Architect

In this role you guide the design and delivery of enterprise solutions at the intersection of client engagements, cloud environments, and legacy modernization. You own architectural decisions and work with multi-disciplinary teams to balance rapid innovation with long-term feasibility, security, and resilience. You’ll engage with senior stakeholders, validate designs through prototypes, and promote best practices within the UK practice. This is a hands-on, leadership-oriented opportunity to shape large-scale systems in a consulting context.

• Translate business goals into robust solution designs and delivery plans
• Own architectural decisions from discovery to go-live
• Evaluate options and articulate trade-offs around cost, security, performance, and maintainability
• Hands-on collaboration with engineering teams to validate designs via prototypes and POCs
• Guide cloud adoption, integration patterns, and modernization of legacy systems
• Communicate effectively with developers and executive stakeholders
• Provide technical governance, design reviews, and mentorship
• Support pre-sales activities, client workshops, and architecture proposals
• Balance rapid innovation with long-term feasibility, resilience, and maintainability
• Represent best practices and foster an architecture culture in the UK practice

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
• Proven solution architecture experience in a senior or lead capacity with strong software engineering foundation
• Track record delivering complex, enterprise-grade systems into production
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP), modern APIs, integration patterns and Data/AI architecture
• Ability to define and audit non-functional requirements such as security, resilience, scalability and performance
• Confidence making critical technical decisions and guiding stakeholders through ambiguity
• Strong pre-sales acumen, including client presentations, RFPs and architectural proposals
• Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
