Senior Solution Architect

As a key member of the Group Functions Technology team, you will drivestrategic technology initiativesthat enable business transformation. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will bridge business and technology, deliveringinnovative solutionsand guiding modernization efforts. This role demands strong leadership, adaptability, and the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable, secure, and future‑ready architectures.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead technology innovation and digital transformationsolutions to deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Design and implementcloud-native architecturesthat are scalable, resilient, and secure.
• ChampionAI adoptionfor automation, process optimization, and architecture modernization.
• ConductPOCs, technical assessments, and feasibility studiesto evaluate emerging technologies and solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical blueprints.
• Ensure compliance withsecurity, data governance, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and presentsolution architecturesin local governance forums.
• Act as an internal consultant to craftbusiness transformation proposalsand lead implementation through interim architectures.
• Evaluate vendor solutions for architecture risk, security, resiliency, and availability.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as aSolution Architectwith strong exposure todigital transformation.
• Solid understanding ofGenerative AItechnologies.
• Expertise incloud-native solutions andcloud platforms(Azure, AWS).
• Strong knowledge ofapplication security, architectural frameworks, and engineering best practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with architecture as code.
• Excellentanalytical, problem-solving, and communication skillswith ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast‑paced environment.
• Insurance domain knowledge is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience inlarge-scale digital transformation projectswithin financial services or insurance.
• Certifications in cloud platforms, or AI technologies is a plus.

Salary range is expected to be between

$113,000.00 CAD - $163,000.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
