Senior Solution Engineer (AI workforce)

In this role you will serve as the senior technical leader for Microsoft’s AI-powered workforce transformation initiatives in Japan, connecting customer business priorities to the Microsoft solution portfolio. You will shape multi-country architectures, drive measurable impact, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to de‑risk large deals. This position combines deep technical leadership with strategic sales to land meaningful, scalable AI and cloud solutions for strategic global accounts.

• Build credibility with technical decision makers and act as trusted advisor on security and workforce transformation
• Guide customers through complex digital transformation journeys using advanced sales methodologies and architectures
• Lead complex technical wins across workloads, regions, and teams by defining engagement rules and coaching teams
• Scale customer success through partners and identify new partnership opportunities
• Develop and share competitive/market insights to influence product strategy and offerings

• Background in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, technical consulting or technology delivery
• Strong understanding of AI and cloud tech with depth in Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI or GitHub Copilot
• Ability to engage and influence senior customer stakeholders
